🎲 Essen Recap 

The Paper Fort Games team have arrived home from Germany after an incredible few days at Spiel Essen. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, played Beyond the Inky Realm and shared their passion for the Cosmoctoverse! Meeting so many of you in person was a real highlight 😃

With more than 220,000 visitors over four days, it was as exhausting as it was exhilarating, but it’s easily one of our favourite events in the tabletop calendar! Our deepest appreciation also goes to Silke, Guen and Carina for helping us out at the stand, running demos and providing their multi-lingual Cosmoctopus expertise - true devotees! 🥰  

🐙 A Tentacle’s Breadth from Adopting an Octopus!

📖 Graphic Novella Cover 

We’re thrilled to unveil the work-in-progress cover of the brand-new graphic novella, illustrated by Raben White!

This story follows the Scientist as she races to complete her groundbreaking research, before the University’s Dean discovers what she’s unleashed. Expect a tale packed with wonderful illustrations, Cosmocto-verse lore and eerie discoveries from the depths of the Inky Realm...

A printed version of this novella will be included with all physical pledges, and backers at all levels will also receive a digital copy.

Here’s the next alternate-art First Contact card by the incredibly talented cephalopod-fanatic Judson Cowan, designer and artist of the strategic horror fishing game Deep Regrets!

We’re upgrading your Prismatic Die! Now, when you choose the blessing of Prismoctopus, it’ll be bigger, heavier, and more satisfying to roll.

Crystal Blue Organiser + Deep Regrets Alt-Art Promos Revealed!

What a wonderful couple of days! 

Yesterday morning, within 24 hours of the campaign launch, we achieved a number sacred in the Cosmocto-verse; £88,888 in funding! 

By the evening, we had surpassed the funding total from the original Cosmoctopus campaign; thank you so much to every one of you!

💎 Crystal Blue Organiser

We've just unveiled today's daily reveal - the game's organiser will be upgraded from black to limited-edition crystal blue, in honour of Prismoctopus! 

Here's a render of the tray, showing how it stores the base game + expansion content. And yes; it has room for sleeved devotee cards! 

🎣 Deep Regrets Alt-Art Promo

Yesterday's daily reveal was the first of four alternate-art First Contact cards by the incredibly talented cephalopod-fanatic Judson Cowan, designer and artist of smash hit Deep Regrets! Deep Regrets is a strategic horror fishing game with a bizarre theme that has definite crossover with the eldritch vibes of the Cosmocto-verse. We’re proud to count Judson amongst Cosmoctopus’ most loyal Devotees; a huge thank you to him for creating this card for us!

All backers of physical pledge levels will receive this card, in addition to the 'standard' version.
